Teens Robbed at Gunpoint in Lakeview

Cops report that a group of men allegedly stole the boys' jewelry, sneakers and cell phones.

Two teenage boys were reportedly robbed at gunpoint by a group of males while they were walking to the bus stop in Lakeview.

According to police, the robbery occurred near Tanglewood Road around 10 p.m. Thursday night. The two victims, ages 14 and 17, allegedly had their jewelry, sneakers and cell phones taken by a group of four or five unknown males.

The subjects had bandanas covering their faces and fled northbound on Tanglewood Road, police reported. No additional description of the subjects is available at this time. The two youths were reportedly visiting a friend’s residence in the area. There were no injuries reported.
