Good evening to all of our friends and neighbors I wanted to comment on something or pose a question with regard to our safety while walking on our sidewalks.Today I was walking north on shore road on the sidewalk when someone riding a bicycle heading north as well road into me and knocked me down they said excuse me and kept riding never looking back. Are bike riders still supposed to ride facing oncoming traffic?I am always looking behind me so I don't get hit.

Classic PW! All one sees is self-important, self-absorbed, self-styled swells, legends in their own minds. They know who they are, act and drive the part, and set that example for their kids-passengers. Perhaps they should start to get in enforcement what they have so richly earned and deserve.

@RHMcCabe: I'm sorry to read about your getting hit by a bicycle. I hope you are ok, and I'm sorry the rider didn't stop.

Glen Lane continues to be a very dangerous road because hundreds of PYA cars make 4 trips into Lions Field for each sports program everyday. They bring in, drop off, pick up and drive back out for each program that PYA has. That becomes thousands of cars on a residential street. The local kids can't play safely outside their own homes because PYA parents are in such a rush to drive their kids into this neighborhood they forget all about the children who live here. If your a PYA parent, Please Drive Safely. Don't teach your children it's ok to run stop signs to get them to their games ontime.

Advice not limited to PYA parents...
