Two Arrested in Lynbrook for Unlawful Massage Practice

The following is the weekly crime report submitted by the Lynbrook Police Department. All information is courtesy of the police.

Arrests

  • On Nov. 18 at 3 a.m., Gregg Sielaw, 19, of Valley Stream, was arrested on Merrick Road and charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
  • On Nov. 18 at 5 a.m., Frank Daniels, 18, of Woodmere, was arrested on Bixley Heath in Lynbrook and charged with Grand Larceny for allegedly stealing a 1995 Buick Skylark in Hewlett.
  • On Nov. 18 at 3:45 p.m., Ying Hong Jiang, 47, of Flushing, and Hong Li Lou, 44, of Brooklyn, were arrested and charged with Unlawfully Practicing Massage on Sunrise Highway.

Case Reports

  • On Nov. 17, $1,855 worth of jewelry was reported stolen from an apartment on Ocean Avenue in Lynbrook.
  • Between the hours of 1 p.m. on Nov. 7 and noon on Nov. 9, $1,600 worth of jewelry was stolen from an apartment on Ocean Avenue in Lynbrook.
  • Between the hours of 9 a.m. and 10:50 p.m. on Nov. 21, $3,000 worth of jewelry was reported stolen from an apartment on Ocean Avenue in Lynbrook.
  • Sometime between Nov. 12 and Nov. 16, a chain-link fence on Vincent Avenue was damaged. Estimated damage is $600.
  • Between the hours of 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Nov. 19, a complainant reported that $740 in cash and four packs of cigarettes were stolen from her pocketbook on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
  • On Nov. 20 at 9 p.m., a complainant reported that three unidentified male subjects broke the back window of his 1997 Infiniti QX4 while it was parked on Charles Street in Lynbrook.
