Two Drivers Injured in West Hempstead Crash

Two SUVs collide on Hempstead Avenue Monday afternoon.

Two drivers were injured Monday afternoon after two SUVs collided on the slippery pavement of Hempstead Avenue near Hempstead Gardens Drive.

West Hempstead firefighters were on the scene along with Nassau County Police to secure the area.

The condition of the drivers was not available.
