Two drivers were left uninjured Friday night after a two-car collision on Hempstead Turnpike in West Hempstead.
West Hempstead firefighters and Nassau County Police were called to the scene at the intersection of Hempstead Turnpike and Cherry Valley Avenue around 8 p.m.
While the drivers were uninjured, both vehicles sustained substantial damage.
Firefighters spread absorbent over the area to control the spill of fluids from the crash.
