Update: Cops Charge 2 in West Hempstead Robbery

Two men face robbery charges after Nassau County Police say they held up a man walking in West Hempstead Friday.

Jeremy Freeman, 18, and Tylik Wilson, 18, both of West Hempstead, were located and charged with robbery, assault, and resisting arrest by Fourth Squad officers.

The duo, reportedly brandishing a gun, held up a 22-year-old man who was walking on Cleveland Street at 12:15 a.m. Friday, reported Nassau County Police.

Freeman was charged with first-degree robbery and resisting arrest. Wilson was charged with first-degree robbery and third-degree assault. They were arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.
