A 21-year-old man was stabbed early Saturday morning in Lakeview shortly after police responded to a loud house party nearby.
Nassau County Police and the were called to the suspected slashing/stabbing shortly before 12:30 a.m. on July 7. They found the victim on the corner of Lehman Road and Pinebrook Road, just around the block from a house party on Beverly Road, where cops had responded to a noise complaint about an hour earlier.
The victim was involved in a physical altercation and suffered a laceration to his left arm from an unknown weapon, according to Nassau County Police.
Lakeview Fire Chief Heather Senti said that the stab wound was approximately 2.5 inches deep and went from the victim's wrist to his mid-forearm. He was transported to Winthrop Hospital as a trauma.
