West Hempstead 7-Eleven Robbed at Gunpoint

Nassau County police are searching for the two men responsible for robbing a West Hempstead 7-Eleven at gunpoint Friday.

According to cops, at 12:10 a.m., two white men entered 7-Eleven at 314 Hempstead Ave. The first man was about 5-foot-7, average build wearing dark clothing, a black mask and latex gloves. The second man fit the same description. 

Police said the first man displayed a semi-automatic handgun while standing in front of the counter. The second man went behind the counter and demanded money.

The two female victims complied, and both men fled northbound on Hempstead Avenue with an unknown amount of money. No injuries were reported, cops said.
