UPDATE: Missing West Hempstead Woman Found

Last seen Thursday at her Hempstead Turnpike apartment.

UPDATE: Maureen Wilson, the West Hempstead woman who was reported missing nearly one week ago, was located Thursday afternoon, according to authorities.

A West Hempstead woman was reported missing late Friday night.

Maureen Wilson, 57, suffers from a cognitive disorder and diabetes, and requires medication. She was last seen Thursday, Jan. 10, at her apartment on Hempstead Turnpike around 10 p.m., possibly wearing a white-hooded sweatshirt.

She may have a New York State non-driver identification and $80 cash. Her destination is unknown.

Wilson is African American, 5'4", with brown hair and brown eyes. She weighs approximately 155 lbs.
