UPDATE: West Hempstead Woman Found

Isabel Campos is described as 5-foot-4, 173 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

UPDATE: The West Hempstead woman who went missing has been located, police said.

A Silver Alert has been issued for a West Hempstead woman who was last seen at 6 p.m. Friday.

According to police, Isabel Campos, 40, was last seen wearing a pink/purple wool jacket, cream short-sleeved shirt, dark grey leggings and pink and purple sneakers.

She's described as 5-foot-4, 173 pounds, and she has black hair and brown eyes.

Campos suffers from Schizophrenia and has Type-2 Diabetes, and she's on various medications.

The Silver Alert Program has been established in order to disseminate immediate information to local media, hospitals and other organizations when a senior citizen or other individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other cognitive disorders goes missing.
