An alleged drunk driver was arrested Wednesday morning by Nassau County Police after she crashed her car into a Town of Hempstead recycling truck in West Hempstead.
Nassau County Police charged Deborah Schreiver, 43, of Hempstead, with Driving While Intoxicated after she failed a sobriety test given to her following the accident. She was taken into custody around 10 a.m. on Jan. 16.
The crash occurred at approximately 9:50 a.m. on Maplewood Street outside the the West Hempstead Post Office. No injures were reported.
