Two Cars Collide on Woodfield Road in West Hempstead

West Hempstead Volunteer Fire Department and Nassau County Police respond.

Two drivers were shaken but neither seriously injured after a two car collision Friday afternoon at the intersection of Woodfield Road and Spruce Street in West Hempstead.

One vehicle appeared to be making a left turn from northbound Woodfield Road onto Spruce Street when the accident occurred.

West Hempstead volunteer firefighters were summoned to control a small fluid spill and to assist in clearing the area. Nassau County police were also at the scene.
