Adoptable Animals of the Week: Meet Queenie and Royal

This bonded duo is looking for a great family who can keep them together.

Names: Royal; Queenie

Case Numbers: #7039; #7040

Hi, my name is Royal,  and I am a sweet, affectionate dude. I make friends quickly with new people, even the most unusual of strangers, and love to be petted and massaged.

I am devoted to my dog “sister” Queenie (she's the tan one.) I am very distracted and unsettled when I’m away from her that's why we're hoping to find a wonderful family who could adopt us both to keep us together. As they say, two is better than one!

Though I’m not terribly playful now, I may become more so once in the home. Because of my size, I might be better in a family with older kids, though I tend to be polite and don’t jump up. I tolerate all types of handling and will readily share my food with people. I am interested in making the acquaintance of even the most unusual strangers (hooded, limping, etc) and, if given a little time (and a treat!), I will make friends with them.

I have not been evaluated with other dogs yet, because I was not feeling my best at time of evaluation. While I’ve lived with another dog, she may have been my only doggie friend. I don't know any basic commands but heck, I may do just about anything for you once you’re my person!

I am proud to say that I walk nicely on the leash. Training may help build my confidence and will help us forge a relationship.
