- West Hempstead School District - All after-school, evening and weekend activities cancelled.
- Lynbrook School District - All after-school activities scheduled for Friday, Feb. 8, and all activities scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 9, are cancelled.
- Lynbrook Recreation Department - Closing at 4:30 p.m. Friday. All programs for Saturday, Feb. 9, are cancelled.
- Nassau County Parks - Closed to the public starting Friday, Feb. 8, at 5 p.m. until Sunday, when they will re-open for normal operating hours. Some facilities may experience delayed openings.
- Town of Hempstead ANCHOR Program - Saturday activities cancelled.
- Town of Hempstead Parks Department - All day, evening classes and activities cancelled.
- Town of Hempstead Senior Enrichment - All activities cancelled.
