Malverne Students Take Over Village For a Day

Kindergartners learn about what it takes to run the village of Malverne from Mayor McDonald and Trustee Bailey.

Could these be the future leaders of the village of Malverne?

In conjunction with Women’s History Month and a unit study on communities, Kindergartners at visited the and Malverne .

The students learned first-hand from Mayor Patricia Norris McDonald and Trustee Michael Bailey about a day in the life of a village board member. They even had a chance to sit in the local leaders' seats on the dais in the courtroom of Village Hall, where all Malverne's official meetings are held.
