According to NewsdayMurray's salary will jump from $150,000 to $160,000, an increase of 6.67 percent, while the board members will go from making $66,000 to $71,000, a 7.58 percent raise.

Unbelievable!!! If only I could vote for a raise for myself. Politicians are truly the lowest life form and the most useless. Can't we vote for raises for them based on their effectiveness?

This is exactly what we (the voters) deserve. Every election day rolls around, and we "sware" that we're going to vote these bums out. Yet, guess who walks right back in?

6 & 7 % raises? That's a bit excessive in these times.
