Girl Scout Troop # 2237, under the leadership of Carol Hanson, recently planted trees at the park, helping the troop complete their “Breathe Journey". At the time, the park was unnamed and the Troop suggested the idea of having the park named after Low.

The Scouts are planning to have over 150 people in attendance Sunday, along with an honor guard, a 25 person chorus, and several dignitaries from the Girl Scouts.
