The Lynbrook Village Board will meet for the second time this month tonight to hold a work session and business meeting.
During the public portion of the work session, which starts at 7 p.m., the board plans to discuss a proposed pumper for the fire department, and address a notice of representation regarding the Regal movie theatre.
The board then plans to enter into executive session -- meaning the public will be asked to leave the meeting room -- to discuss an amendment to the Department of Public Works' civil service titles, c a parking meter servicer, and redevelopment of Langdon Place.
The business meeting, which will begin at 8 p.m., will include a report from the Chamber of Commerce. The board also plans to vote to extend overnight parking in the village to accomodate residents who have taken in displaced victims of Superstorm Sandy. Also on the agenda is a motion to postpone the public hearing regarding 173 Earle Ave.
