Lynbrook Village Board Meeting Agenda: Sept. 10

See what the mayor and trustees will be discussing tonight.

The Lynbrook village board will meet at 7 p.m. tonight for a roughly one-hour work session followed by its September business meeting at 8 p.m.

Two hot topics -- and -- will be revisited during separate public hearings scheduled as part of the meeting. There will also be a third regarding a special use permit for 140 Merrick Road.

In addition to receiving monthly reports from each of the village's departments and the Chamber of Commerce, the board will also issue a proclamation to Lynbrook Little League's District Champions, handle two requests and hear from members of the public who wish to address them.

The agenda for Monday's work session includes requests for a farmer's market on Peninsula Boulevard and a flea market for the Sons of Italy. The board will also discuss four contracts (see attached agenda for details), a study of 35 Wilbur Street and a taxi license modification, and vote on adopting bond resolutions.
