Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano recently honored firefighters and first responders for their unprecedented heroic response and performance of duty during and in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
As a sign of gratitude, each honoree received a specially-designed Hurricane Sandy pin from the County Executive.
