On the Agenda: Village Board

A preview of tonight's Lynbrook board meeting.

The Lynbrook village board meets tonight at 7 p.m. at Village Hall. Here's some of what's on the agenda:

  • The board will set a date for a public hearing on a proposed ethics law.
  • Summer board meeting dates will be set.
  • A public hearing will be held on Washington Avenue sidewalk assessments.
  • A computer replacement proposal is on the agenda.
  • Trustees will review 2011 bond projects.
  • Several proclamations are on the agenda, including ones for the Girls Self Defense Team, Our Lady of Peace Marching Band, and Steven Fusswinkle.
  • Trustees will vote on whether to allow certain summer events to take place on village property.
  • As with all village board meetings, there is a Good & Welfare session. Residents are invited to speak and/or ask questions of the board.
