Every Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. from June 24 through Aug. 30 (except holidays) seniors will have the chance to experience all of Lido Beach Town Park. Admission and parking are both free. There is also free bus transportation on appointed days from town senior centers.

Seniors, at least 60 years of age, can take part in Hempstead Town's 10-week program. An air-conditioned building houses organized activities, which include arts and crafts, painting, line dancing and presentations on various topics. The highlight of each day is special live entertainment under the tent. Outdoors, enjoy picnicking and sing-alongs under the shade of the mushroom shelters, play a game of bocce, or take a water aerobics class in the pool.

Call the Department of Senior Enrichment at (516) 485-8100 for details.
