  1. Bizarre Accidents: Lakeview firefighters had a busy Thursday, beginning with an accident involving an alleged drunk driver and then a situation where a man was run over by his own vehicle. Click for details.
  2. Lynbrook Crime: were reported in the village of Lynbrook this week.
  3. Malverne School Board: Wednesday's meeting of the Malverne school board started out on a positive note, with officials , but became contentious as residents and board members butted heads on Part III of our coverage continues today with a focus on disputes over use of the district's new turf field.
