Few products have been more controversial in recent years than energy drinks.
The high-caffeine beverages have been accused of being unhealthy and the companies that make them have been accused of marketing too much to young people.
The energy drink industry has argued that there's no definitive proof that their products are harmful.
Last week the Suffolk County Legislature passed a bill that bans the sale of energy drinks at county-run parks and beaches to those under the age of 18, while also limiting direct marketing efforts of these products to minors.
