Will Nassau Residents Get Relief From Noisy Planes? [Poll]

For months, residents in Malverne have been voicing their frustrations regarding the flying over the village. (Not to mention, the that one couple believes came from a plane flying overhead.)

And they are not alone. In October 2011, Malverne became the 13th village to join the Town-Village Aircraft Safety and Noise Abatement Committee (TVASNAC), which has been pressuring officials at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which operates nearby LaGuardia and JFK airports, to find solutions to the noise problems.

The disgruntled Nassau and Queens residents who say the low-flying, nerve-wrattling, loud planes are diminishing their quality of life have the attention of the local press and politicians, . But how confident are you that the issues will be resolved?
