New Long Island Rail Road Schedule

New Long Island Rail Road Schedule

Hello fellow train riders. For those of you who have not heard the Long Island Rail Road is putting the 7:23 train out of Malverne back on the schedule.  Yeah!!!

This is one good thing but how about the other things we have lost. We still have no weekend service but am told that may resume as well...

Let's talk about the schedule coming home in the evening. This is still a major problem. We have a good time schedule of trains leaving out of Penn Station from between the 5:04 and the 8:42. these trains take between 45 and 55 minutes to get home After the 8:42 there is no train until 10:35 and then again until the 12:14am train. And with the transfers it is about and hour 15 minutes. Then remember friday night all West Hempstead trains stop so there is no 12:14 am train.

Why is there no 9:30 or an 11:30 train coming through? Does anyone else find this an inconvenience? I am tired of having to come home through Valley Stream and Lynbrook and then taking a cab home.

I think that the morning schedule is great but the evening still needs a lot of work so do not pat ourselves on our back just yet. There is much work to do...

We had a Red-tailed hawk in our back yard about 6 years ago. There was a noted silence in the air asRead More all the other birds didn't want their presence to be known. It was pretty awesome.
