Considering a Catholic school?
To kick off Catholic Schools Week, an annual national effort to celebrate and bring awareness to Catholic education, Our Lady of Lourdes School in Malverne and St. Thomas the Apostle in West Hempstead opened their doors Sunday.
At the open houses, each school showcased what they have to offer, following the theme of "Faith, Academics and Service." Families of current and prospective pupils had the chance to tour the school buildings, meet with faculty members and admire the hard work and creativity of the Pre-K to Grade 8 students on display in the classrooms.
