Change the Way We Feed Our Children

Elizabeth Doctor, RN, CRA, NTP, Registered Nurse and Nutritional Therapist invites residents and their friends to join her for a presentation on the effect of food on your genes and how you change the beauty and IQ of your children. Mark your calendar for Tuesday, April 3, beginning at 7 PM, the Irish American Society of Nassau Suffolk and Queens Inc. 297 Willis Avenue, Mineola.  Admission is $10 per person and open to all.

Food can alter genetic information in the space of a single generation; hence, what we feed our children has a direct effect on the health of our descendants.  A viewing of the movie “FRESH,” the underground documentary that became a massive grassroots success because it offers a healthier alternative way of eating and a practical vision for our future and planet, will follow the presentation.

Many both in America and Ireland where she ties in her heritage, education, and personal philosophy have enjoyed Ms. Doctor’s presentations.  She deftly infuses her talk with relaxation techniques, serene photographs, and famous quotations.  These make one reflect on the true importance of taking care of both your mind and body.
