The West Hempstead School District's Space Utilization Committee, which is open to all community members, will hold its second meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the High School Video Conference Room. At this meeting, Western Suffolk BOCES will present the findings of its demographic study of the district. All are welcome.
The Space Utilization Committee is tasked with coming up with a plan for how the district can best use the empty space it owns at Chestnut Street School and the soon-to-be vacant school building on Eagle Avenue after Nassau BOCES leaves in June 2013.
