Five Towns Kiwanis Award Scholarships to Lynbrook Students

The Five Towns Kiwanis gave out $500 awards to local high school students who have great grades and volunteer their time in clubs and other causes.

"They are the best of the best of our school districts," said Syd Mandelbaum, a member of the Five Towns Kiwanis.

Six students from Lawrence High School, four from Hewlett and two from Lynbrook received the scholarships.
