Lynbrook Council of PTA's Holds Founders' Day Celebration

Select group of teachers, parents and community members honored at the celebration.

The air was charged with excitement as the school community recently gathered together for the Lynbrook Council of PTAs 2012 Founders’ Day celebration.

Each year, this event honors a select group of teachers, parents and community members who have been dedicated advocates for the children of Lynbrook Public Schools. The theme of this year’s celebration was “Touching Lives, Lifting Spirits.” A group of 16 special people who have touched the lives of countless children through their enthusiasm, caring, dedication and love for learning were chosen as this year’s honorees. They were all bestowed honorary lifetime PTA memberships in recognition of their devoted service to the Lynbrook school community.
