Lynbrook High School Honors 64 AP Scholars

The students earned the designation of Advanced Placement Scholar from the College Board in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the college-level exams.

64 students at Lynbrook High School have earned the designation of Advanced Placement Scholar from the College Board in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the college-level Advanced Placement Program (AP) Exams.

The College Board recognizes several levels of achievement based on a student’s performance on AP Exams. One student earned the designation of National AP Scholar, 12 were named AP Scholars with Distinction, 11 were named AP Scholars with Honor, and 40 were designated as AP Scholars. They belong to a select group—only 18% of the more than 1.8 million students worldwide who took AP Exams performed at a sufficiently high level to earn an AP Scholar Award.

National AP Scholar: Daniel Kramer, the valedictorian of the Class of 2011, qualified for the National AP Scholar Award by earning an average grade of 4 or higher on eight or more AP Exams. This is the highest award an AP Scholar can earn.
