Lynbrook High School to Host 'Night of the Pumpkins'

By Rosemary Leonetti

The Lynbrook High School National Art Honor Society will be hosting its annual Night of the Pumpkins on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The entire high school field will be ablaze with over 200 jack-o’-lanterns for all to enjoy, creatively carved by NAHS members, faculty and local artists. There will also be a host of festive fall activities for all ages, including mummy wrapping contests, pumpkin carving competitions, a children’s Halloween movie, face painting, baked goods and much more.

Admission is $5. The carved pumpkins will be available for sale at the end of the evening. In the event of inclement weather, the festivities will be moved inside to the high school gymnasium. All door fees will be used to benefit the NAHS art scholarship fund.
