Lynbrook H.S. Receives ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Grant

School receives $750 for mathematics and science programs.

Lynbrook High School has received a $750 grant from the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance program to support the high school's mathematics and science programs.

Yona Beno, a Lynbrook resident, of Best Management Ltd., a Garden City ExxonMobil station, worked with school officials to secure the grant, which is one of 2,400 available to schools across the country served by Exxon or Mobil stations. The grants were made possible by funding from the ExxonMobil Corporation.

"Lynbrook High School works hard to provide superior learning opportunities for its students," said Mr. Beno. "As an ExxonMobil retailer, I am proud to help the young people of Lynbrook excel."

The ExxonMobil Educational Alliance program is designed to provide Exxon and Mobil retailers with an opportunity to invest in the future of their communities by offering educational grants to neighborhood schools.
