Lynbrook Kickline Headed to LI Championship

Lynbrook HS team will compete against the best in Nassau and Suffolk.

The Lynbrook High School varsity kickline team is heading to the Long Island championship.

The team, which trains under the direction of coach Robin Manza, recently qualified to compete in the Long Island Kickline Association 2013 Invitational championship.

Last year, Lynbrook was able to defeat all of the Nassau County teams in the Pom division. (East Islip was the overall Pom champion.)

The Lady Owls have been invited this season to complete in both the Pom and the High Kick division. They hope the high-kicking precision teamwork that won them county honors last year will propel them to win the 2013 Long Island title when they compete against the best teams from Nassau and Suffolk counties on March 17 at Uniondale High School.
