Lynbrook Residents Graduate from the University of Scranton

The University of Scranton announced that they conferred 1,735 degrees – the largest number of degrees in its history – at two commencement ceremonies this weekend, including more than 900 bachelor's and associate degrees at its undergraduate commencement on May 26 at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre. 

Three Lynbrook residents earned undergraduate degrees: 

- Megan F. Hayes, earned a Bachelor of Science in early and primary teacher education.

- Allegra R. Indelicato earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology. 

- Emily A. Nohilly earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication.

The commencement speaker at graduation was Sandra Postel, a respected author, scholar, lecturer and consultant on global water protection, and director of the Global Water Policy Project.
