Lynbrook School Board Agenda: July 3

See what the Board of Education will be discussing at tonight's meetings.

Although classes won't commence until September, the 2012-2013 school year will officially kick off in Lynbrook tonight as the Board of Education holds its annual reorganization meeting.

The public meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. inside the Atlantic Avenue Board Room. The board plans to wrap up the reorganization meeting by 8 p.m., when it will then proceed into its monthly business meeting.

The school board trustees will be discussing the recent prom events, attendance at school events, its policy committee meeting and its upcoming board retreat.

They will also provide an update on the "Facilities" part of the district's Strategic Plan and the Code of Conduct Committee Review.

The superintendent will also deliver an update on the Annual Professional Performance Review that will be used to evaluate faculty members, summer school programs and capital projects.

The meeting agenda can be viewed to the top right. Look for coverage of the meeting later this week on Patch.
