The Lynbrook school board had to postpone its November business meeting due to the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy. It will be held tonight, Nov. 20.
The board will meet at 7 p.m. in the high school but may vote to go into executive session. In that case, the public meeting is expected to resume around 8 p.m.
Tonight's meeting will include a presentation on School Leadership and a discussion of tributes to the recently departed Schools Chief Dr. Santo Barbarino.
Interim Superintendent Melissa Burak plans to discuss internet safety, revisions to the 2012-13 school calendar, Advanced Placement testing and donations.
As always, the meeting will include a period for district residents to address the board. The full meeting agenda can be viewed above.
