Lynbrook Varsity Boys Soccer Takes Home Awards
Angelo Messina named All County, Conference 6 Player of the Year.
The Lynbrook varsity boys soccer team was awarded a number of honors at the recent Nassau County Boys Soccer Coaches Association Annual Awards Dinner. The dinner was held at the Marriott Hotel in Uniondale.
Five Lynbrook players were named to the All Conference Team. They include seniors Richard Bellusci, James Kirby, Gonzalo Andreani and Andrew Marks (also selected in 2009). Junior Michael Milillo was also named to the All Conference Team.
Sophomore Damian Andreani was named to the All County Honorable Mention Team.
Senior Angelo Messina was named to the All County Team and was also selected as the Conference 6 Player of the Year.
Senior Andrew Marks received the team Senior Scholar Athlete Award.
Coach Josh Berlin was selected as the Conference 6 Coach of the Year.
The Lynbrook H.S. Boys Soccer Program also received the Nassau County Soccer Officials Association Award for Outstanding Sportsmanship.
