Lynbrook West End School Kicks Off PARP Program

Parents As Reading Partners started on Thursday, Jan. 26.

Lynbrook's kicked off it's annual Parents As Reading Partners (PARP) program with "Discover the Magic of Reading" event last Thursday.

Magic Beyond Imagination incorporated the fun of reading into a show for students and families. A wonderful night was shared by students, families, and even Principal Alison Puliatte who took part in the show.

PARP is meant to encourage parents to read together with children each day during the week and involves guest readers from the community. This year's theme is Dive Into Reading. Each child signs a contract stating their participation and keeps a reading log.
