Lynbrook West End Students Participate in Field Day

With family members on hand to cheer them on, fourth and fifth graders at Lynbrook’s West End School demonstrated their athletic ability, teamwork and sportsmanship skills during their annual Field Day activities. 

The celebration began with a group fitness routine in which students performed a lively rendition of “Cotton-Eyed Joe.”

Students then broke up into teams for rotating games of European handball, circle soccer, ultimate football, lightning basketball and Steal the Bacon. Next came a lively game of crab soccer, followed by a tug of war.
