The Malverne High School library is the proud recipient of a beautifully handcrafted work of stained glass.
The piece, designed and created by Malverne alumnus Michael Ziegler, depicts the “kicking mule” from the Malverne High School Class of 1962.
Ziegler graduated from Malverne High School in 1962 and now resides in Statesville, N.C., where he creates art for Art Glass Designs & Antiques.
The Malverne alum said he has fond memories of MHS and created this piece as a tribute to his graduating class.
