Emily Matassa, a Malverne resident and junior at Kellenberg Memorial High School, has been selected to participate in the All State Women’s Chorus at the New York State School Music Association's 2013 Conference All-State Festival in Rochester, New York.
Thousands of students across the state audition for seating in NYSSMA ensembles each year, and selection to All State is the highest honor that a high school musician in New York can achieve.
Matassa is a student of Mr. Clark Blanton at Kellenberg Memorial High School.
