The Malverne school board will hold its September business meeting Wednesday night at 8 p.m. in the high school library.
Tonight's meeting will include tenure recognition and reports on the start of the new school year and the ongoing renovations to the district's facilities, particularly Maurice W. Downing and Davison Avenue elementary schools.
The board will be voting on a number of faculty changes including more than two dozen appointments and various contracts for educational and transportation services needed for the school year. The trustees also plan to adopt the district's annual goals and have a first reading of a revised policy pertaining to facilities use.
As always, members of the public will have a chance to address the board toward the end of the meeting.
