Malverne Students Support Troops With 'Operation Gratitude'

By Danielle Lambert

During the months of January and February, Davison Avenue Intermediate School’s student council is supporting Operation Gratitude by writing letters to currently deployed service members and wounded warriors.

So far, they have collected more than 200 letters. According to a representative from Operation Gratitude, out of all the items they receive, service members cherish letters of appreciation the most.
