Marion Street School Loves Math

Students participate in math themed activities to celebrate the subject.

Students at Lynbrook’s Marion Street School enjoyed their celebration of “I Love Math Day,” rotating from room to room to visit four different math stations.

At the first station, students practiced graphing skills by taking a poll of everyone’s favorite breed of dog, and then charting and analyzing the results using bar graphs.

At the second station, students used estimating and measurement skills by measuring their height and arm span to determine if the relationship between the two was square or rectangular.
