At the Our Lady of Lourdes Family Fun Day on April 2 several families enjoyed carnival games, walked away with prizes and helped support their school.

The Parent-Teacher-League, who organized the event, covered the basement auditorium with fifties-inspired decorations, channeling the decade's "Let the good times roll" theme.

Youngsters tried their luck at over a dozen different games, while collecting tickets along the way to cash in for prizes. (Whoopee cushion seemed to be the most popular one!) They also had their faces painted, created springtime crafts and snacked on popcorn and pretzels.
