Singing 'Pirates' Take Lynbrook North Middle School

Drama Club puts on a swashbuckling production of "The Pirates of Penzance."

The stage was aflutter with pirate kings, police, fair maidens and major generals
as the Lynbrook North Middle School Drama Club put on a swashbuckling production of Gilbert and Sullivan’ s comic opera “The Pirates of Penzance.”

Mingling colorful costumes, brilliant sets and melodic voices, the young actors added fresh sparkle to this classic tale of love, piracy, duty and honor on the seven seas.

Marc Levine played Frederick, Serena Sundeberg was Ruth, Hunter Jimenez
played the Pirate King, Frank Gaetani played Major General Stanley, Caroline McManus was his daughter Mabel, and Danielle Amato was the Sergeant of Police. Other leading roles were played Nicole Bien, Jillian Cohen, Jessie Gaimaro, Katie Lenz, Ruby Stewart and Stephanie Milillo.

The show was co-directed by Amanda Tambe and Anthony Carollo. Katie Kelly
was the artistic director, and sets were designed by Peter McNally. Sound direction was handled by Jessica Paz. Tatum Connolly was the stage manager and Jennifer Dean was the manager of the stage crews.
