Monday's snowstorm prompted schools to close and delay openings across the region. Here's a rundown of closings only, according to Newsday:

As are the Valley Stream School Districts. And Hebrew Academy of Long Beach, and Hebrew Academy of Nassau County.

I feel betrayed that the LB Schools opened today. My son said he was soaked by the time he got to school. Now he is sitting in class in wet clothes with little to do since many of his teachers were unable to get to work. It is not a matter of terrible judgement, but rather a total lack of leadership which is causing this district to go downhill fast.
