Summer Fun at Lynbrook Schools

Playground program held at Marion and West End.

Lynbrook children in grades K-8 once again have been enjoying a fun and enriching summer at Lynbrook Public Schools Summer Playground Program, held at Marion Street and West End Schools.

The half-day program, held from July 6 through Aug. 10, offers recreational activities, arts and crafts, computer classes and special events, including a carnival, field day, talent show, pizza party and ice cream on Fridays.

This year there were many activities for the children to experience on site, including professional cooking classes. Organized field trips to the movies, bowling alley, Hot Skates, Turf Island, Once Upon a Sundae, the Rockhall Museum, Plaza Theatrical Productions and Fun Station rounded out the program, which is open to children of all Lynbrook School District and Village of Lynbrook residents.
